Observed gaps at the bottom of both back doors. CA: Outer openings of a food service establishment shall be protected against the entry of insects and rodents by solid, self-closing, tight-fitting doors. Discussed with PIC to close the gaps to prevent insect entry.

Regulation: 511-6-1.07(5)(a),(b) - good repair, physical facilities maintained; cleaning, frequency & restrictions, cleaned often enough to keep them clean (c)
Observed heavy dust buildup on the fans of a walk in cooler.
CA: The physical facilities shall be cleaned as often as necessary to keep them clean and by methods that prevent contamination of food products.
Discussed with PIC to clean the area as soon as possible.

Observed no protective light bulb shielding on the light fixture above the walk in freezer. CA: Light bulbs shall be shielded, coated, or otherwise shatter-resistant in areas where there is exposed food; clean equipment, utensils, and linens; or unwrapped single-service and single-use articles. Discussed with PIC to purchase the light shielding.
