Observed food employee eating in the kitchen, at the food prep area/table in front of the one door reach in cooler. CA: Employees shall consume food only in approved designated areas separate from food preparation and serving areas, equipment or utensil areas and food storage areas. COS: Employee left the kitchen area to come eat at the customer dinning area.
2-2D - adequate handwashing facilities supplied & accessible
Regulation: 511-6-1.06(2)(o) - using a handwashing sink- operation & maintenance (pf)
Observed cooked/prepped injera stored on top of the hand sink in the main kitchen. CA: A handwashing facility may not be used for purposes other than handwashing. COS: Food item was removed.
12B - personal cleanliness
Regulation: 511-6-1.03(5)(g) - jewelry (c)
Observed food employee with a wrist watch on while prepping injera CA: Except for a plain ring such as a wedding band food employees may not wear jewelry including medical information jewelry on their arms and hands while preparing food. COS: Wrist watch was removed and hands was washed properly.

Regulation: 511-6-1.03(5)(f) - fingernails (pf)
Observed food employee with nail colors on while touching/prepping ready to eat food (injera). CA: A food employee may not wear fingernail polish or artificial fingernails when working with exposed food. COS: Food employee put on hand gloves.
