Observed cooking equipment in rooms 225 and 138. PIC advised to remove hot plates from rooms. CA. Cooking is only allowed within tourist rooms that have been constructed to include permanently installed cooking facilities as approved by the Health Authority and other applicable state and local authorities. This rule does not prohibit coffee makers and microwave ovens belonging to the tourist accommodation

Observed worn anti-slip surface in all except three rooms inspected. CA. Anti-slip tubs slip strips, appliqués, or slip-proof mats shall be provided in each bathing facility and shall be kept clean and in good repair

Observed water temperature out of range in rooms 380(96F), 372(127F), 257(129F), and 145(126F). Also observed low water pressure in rooms 259 and 145. CA. Hot and cold running water under pressure shall be provided to all lavatories, bathing facilities and maintained within the range 110-120F

Observed one live and one dead roach and two egg cases in room 374. PIC advised to have area treated. Effective and appropriate measures shall be taken to eliminate the presence of rodents and flies, roaches, bed bugs, and other insects on the premises. The premises shall be kept in such condition as to prevent the attraction, harborage or feeding of insects or rodents

Observed rusting/ dirty refrigerators in room 374 and 145, dirty microwaves in 372 and 145, damaged furniture (cabinet shelf) in 246 and pipe tap in disrepair in room 145. CA. All furniture, draperies, appliances, carpets, and other accessories, in the tourist accommodation, whether the property of the tourist accommodation owner or not, shall be considered the property of and furnished by the tourist accommodation for purposes of enforcement, and must be maintained in good repair, clean, and free of vermin

Observed water from A/C units running across walkways by rooms 244,246, 259, 141 and 147. PIC advised to check A/C units and empty overflowing water catchment containers
