4-2B - food-contact surfaces: cleaned & sanitized
Regulation: 511-6-1.05(7)(b) - food contact surfaces and utensils - cleaning frequency (p, c)
Equipment Food-Contact Surfaces and Utensils shall be cleaned. In equipment such as ice bins and beverage dispensing nozzles and enclosed components of equipment such as ice makers, cooking oil storage tanks and distribution lines, beverage and syrup dispensing lines or tubes, coffee bean grinders, and water vending equipment shall be cleaned at a frequency necessary to preclude accumulation of soil or mold. Observe food contact surfaces of upper enclosed area of two ice machines with a build up of mold pink and black mold like substance in main Kitchen. PIC was advised to remove said ice and wash, rinse and sanitize both ice machines and create a frequent cleaning schedule. Send picture of cleaned ice machine to inspector via email by 3/9/26.

Post the permit in a location in the food service establishment that is conspicuous to consumers. Permit was deemed invalid and not posted due to unpaid permit fees. NOV was issued due to non-payment of permit fees. PIC was advised to pay permit fees no later than 3/11/2025.Failure to voluntarily correct the problem by that date may result in legal action. Paying the food establishment permit fee(s) to the DeKalb Public Health, Environmental Health department: DeKalb.EH@dph.ga.gov OR in person at Dekalb Public Health at 445 Winn Way. Regulation: 511-6-1.07(5)(a),(b) - good repair, physical facilities maintained; cleaning, frequency & restrictions, cleaned often enough to keep them clean (c)
Maintenance and Operation. Good Repair. All physical facilities shall be maintained in good repair. Cleaning, Frequency and Restrictions. The physical facilities shall be cleaned as often as necessary to keep them clean and by methods that prevent contamination of food products. Except for cleaning that is necessary due to a spill or other accident, cleaning shall be done during periods when the least amount of food is exposed, such as after closing. Observed food residue and debris on floor of walk in beer cooler and a pool of standing water on floor next to ice machine. Additionally, non food storage shelves observed soiled with dust. PIC was advised to clean said areas and send photo to inspector via email by 3/9/26.
