Observed food employee consuming food while at the prep area. CA: Employees shall consume food only in approved designated areas separate from food preparation and serving areas, equipment or utensil areas and food storage areas. COS: Food employee discarded food container, disinfected the prep area, and washed their hands.
4-2B - food-contact surfaces: cleaned & sanitized

Observed the mouth/lip of the ice machine with pink and black debris and buildup. Advised PIC to discard the ice and clean the equipment. CA: In equipment such as ice bins and beverage dispensing nozzles and enclosed components of equipment such as ice makers, and water vending equipment, surfaces of utensils and equipment contacting food that is not time/temperature control for safety food shall be cleaned.
