13-202(a)(1)- Pool barriers must be 5 feet in height and have gaps less than 4 inches in width observed: Parts of the fence barrier were damaged & had gaps larger than 4 inches. imminent health hazard. CPO corrected on site.

13-202(a)(2) - Pool must have gates that close and self-latch when opened observed: gate remained open when open; imminent health hazard - CPO corrected on site.

13-202(d) - pools longer than 50 feet must have additional sets of safety equipment per every 50-foot length: a 14-foot non-telescopic Shepherd's hook and a Coast guard-approved ring buoy observed: Pool had one complete set of safety equipment. Second Shepard's hook was on telescopic pole; imminent health hazard. CPO corrected Shepard's hook by attaching a non-telescopic pole, and completed second set of safety equipment.

13-190(a)- an adequately-sized and operational flowmeter must be attacked to the return line observed: flow meter had bobber stuck, and was not operational. Recommended to CPO to install a new one as soon as possible.

13-188(h)(3) - Pool deck must be smooth, clean, slip-resistant, and without tripping hazards observed: pool deck had rough spots in areas with peeling concrete, as well as dirt and debris on deck. Recommended to CPO to clean as soon as possible.

13-184(e)(5) - Pool bathrooms must be functional and maintained at all times observed: men's bathroom had a sink leak that created a slipping hazard under sink area. CPO corrected on site.

13-188(a)(5): All pools shall be kept free of sediment, dirt, debris. observed: pool surfaces had dirt, debris, and leaves at bottom of pool. Must be cleaned before pool is opened.

13-189(c)(1) The free chlorine residual in all parts of the pool shall be maintained at a concentration of no less that 3 ppm and shall not exceed 10 ppm. Chlorine read as 12.24+ppm upon second test.

13-202(d): each pool shall have shepherds hook provided. each pool shall have a coast guard approved lifesaving ring with throwing rope that is long as 1 1/2 times the max width of the pool or 50 ft (whichever is longer). Obs: No shepherds hook. No throwing rope attached to ring buoy.

13-190(a)(6): Vacuum lines are prohibited. Must be cut, capped & sealed. Obs: In equipment room, vacuum line coming out the floor is cut, but not capped/sealed.

13-202(l): tightly stretched float line shall be installed across pool where depths exceed 5 ft. Obs: No float line.

13-193(a): Sand filter shall have properly operating gauges. Obs: Both sand filter gauges are inoperable.

13-188(h)(4): Decks shall not retain any standing water longer than 20 min. Obs: Many wet spots retaining water.

13-202(m): Rules shall contain minimum 12 statements. Obs: Rules missing "No glass", "bathers with open wounds", "bathers shall wear bathing attire", "no spitting/spouting", "no running", max bather load and hours of operation.

13-201(c)(4): A shower with hot water shall be provided in operable and clean manner. Obs: Both showers are dirty.

13-188(a)(5): pools shall be maintained in a way where there is no sediment, dirt or debris. Obs: visible staining throughout.

13-202(i): each pool shall have in place departmentally approved Emergency Action Plan that is filled out with blood, fecal, vomit plan included alongside an appropriate measures for infectious & communicable/open blisters/cuts plan. Obs: no EAP found.

13-202(k): each pool shall have properly stocked to trat 15 people first aid kit that is OSHA approved. Must be mounted in conspicuous area. Obs: No First aid kit.

13-198(b): Equipment room must be ventilated by chlorine resistant fan. Obs: No ventilation found. There is vents but not a fan.

13-198(c): Clearance around all equipment in equipment room and must permit unobstructed, ready for access inspection. Obs: Equipment room is cluttered with pool items and pipes spread around.

13-201(c)(3): Each bathroom shall have hot water range of 70-104 degrees. Obs: No hot water in both bathrooms.

13-201(j): Each bathroom shall have properly sized, covered & lined trash can. Obs: No trash cans present.

13-201(k): Each bathroom shall have properly equipped supply of liquid soap, toilet paper, & towels. 1 diaper changing station per bathroom shall be provided. Obs: None of supplies listed were stocked. No diaper changing station in neither bathrooms.

13-184(e)(5): imminent health hazard exists if sanitary facilities are inoperable or not maintained in clean & sanitary condition. Obs: Both bathrooms are dirty. Womens bathroom has pool supplies inside of it. Sinks are inoperable.
