Observation: The entry gate was observed not to be self-closing. Additionally, the latching mechanism was not in good repair Action Required: Repair or replace gate hardware to ensure the gate reliably self-closes and the latch functions properly
13-202(g) An operable, hard-wired, weatherproof telephone with direct 911 access or capability shall be readily available at all times within the pool enclosure in a conspicuous location. Cell phones do not meet this requirement.
Observation: The emergency phone was found to be operable; however, sound quality was poor, and the operator was unable to hear clearly during use.
Action Required: Repair or replace the emergency phone to ensure clear, reliable communication with emergency services. Confirm that the device remains hard-wired, weatherproof, and accessible at all times within the pool enclosure.

Observation: the required phone numbers were not posted at the pool telephone.
