There is a sign indicating "No Lifeguard on Duty", however the last portion of the sign is not indicated. Where no lifeguard is on duty, a sign or signs shall be placed in clear view at or near the entrance to the pool and shall state in clearly legible letters at least four inches high “WARNING - NO LIFE GUARD ON DUTY and RISK OF DROWNING - SUPERVISE CHILDREN CLOSELY”.

The words "No Diving" does not meet the minimum height requirements for the depth markers and there is no universal symbol for no diving. The words "No Diving" and the universal international symbol for “NO DIVING” shall be permanently visible at the edge of the deck for water five feet in depth or less, placed only on the deck beside the depth markers, and shall conform to that outlined for depth markers. These must be in compliance prior to permitting 2028.

Observed there are no available records onsite to verify twice daily chemical testing is performed. CA: The trained operator or responsible person shall collect water samples from the water in the pool for monitoring. The water quality testing frequency shall be completed based on the requirements of the code.

Observed that there is no available information to verify a daily safety check is being performed. CA: A safety self-inspection shall be conducted daily by the trained operator or responsible person and documented on a log sheet.

Observed that the equalizer line was missing the check valves. CA: Skimmer lines shall be properly protected.

Observed that the life guard signage is incorrect/incorrect height. CA: Where no lifeguard is on duty, a sign or signs shall be placed in clear view at or near the entrance to the pool and shall state in clearly legible letters at least four inches high “WARNING - NO LIFE GUARD ON DUTY and RISK OF DROWNING - SUPERVISE CHILDREN CLOSELY”.

Observed that the gates did not close. CA: A barrier to inhibit unauthorized shall be maintained.

Observed that the emergency phone is outside of the enclosure. RCA: This shall be corrected before next pool season. CA: An operable, hard-wired, conventional telephone line or continuous powered source, weatherproof emergency phone shall be permanently installed in a conspicuous location within the pool enclosure and must be readily available to bathers at all times. The emergency phone shall be capable of connecting to 911 and electronically transferring an automatic number identification and automatic locator identification of the pool emergency phone to the public safety answering point, if available. A 911 sign or the names and phone numbers of the nearest available police, fire, ambulance service or rescue unit shall be posted nearby.

Observed that the body hook is not attached to the pole. CA: Facility shall have a light, strong pole not less than twelve feet long including body hook.

Observed non-self closing cover on the vacuum line. CA: The vacuum line shall be protected with a self-closing, self-latching fitting that complies with the current IAMPO SPS 4- Special Use Suction Fitting for Swimming Pools, Spas and Hot Tubs.

Observed that the correct pool risks are not correct. CA: The pool risks with all required verbiage and required height of letters shall be posted.

Observed that the peak occupancy sign did not have the number on it. CA: Peak theoretical occupancy shall be posted.
