The words "No Diving" and the universal international symbol for “NO DIVING” shall be permanently visible at the edge of the deck for water five feet in depth or less, placed only on the deck beside the depth markers, and shall conform to that outlined for depth markers. These must be in compliance prior to permitting 2028.

Observed that the door from the event space into the pool enclosure is not properly inhibiting unauthorized access. The door is not marked or indicated that it is to remain locked at all times and all access controls are less than 54 inches from the ground and the door does not close. Recommended actions: If the door is to be used for access into the pool enclosure, the door shall self-close and self-latch and either the lock or the no touch access needs to be 54 inches above ground level; a number pad or other locking mechanism could be used as well. Alternatively, the door can always remain locked and indicated as such and all pool entry can be through the standard pool gates. CA: Facility shall inhibit unauthorized access by providing and maintaining a barrier.

Observed that the emergency phone does not call 911, it calls an independent third party company instead. CA: An operable, hard-wired, conventional telephone line or continuous powered source, weatherproof emergency phone shall be permanently installed in a conspicuous location within the pool enclosure and must be readily available to bathers at all times. The emergency phone shall be capable of connecting to 911 and electronically transferring an automatic number identification and automatic locator identification of the pool emergency phone to the public safety answering point, if available. A 911 sign or the names and phone numbers of the nearest available police, fire, ambulance service or rescue unit shall be posted nearby.

Observed that the chlorine in the pool was 0.5 PPM. CA: For a stabilized pool, chlorine disinfectant shall be betweeen 2 PPM and 10 PPM.

Observed that the pH was 8.0. CA: pH shall be between 7.2 and 7.8

Observed that there is no available information to verify a daily safety check is being performed. CA: A safety self-inspection shall be conducted daily by the trained operator or responsible person and documented on a log sheet.

Observed there are no available records onsite to verify twice daily chemical testing is performed. CA: The trained operator or responsible person shall collect water samples from the water in the pool for monitoring. The water quality testing frequency shall be completed based on the requirements of the code.

Observed that the skimmer equalize lines were not protected by the float valve assembly. CA: Skimmer lines shall be properly protected.

Observed that one of the pressure gauges was not functioning. CA: A pressure or vacuum gauge or other means of indicating system condition shall be provided in the circulation system in an easily readable location.

Did not observe the CPO records. CA: Written documentation of the operator’s visits shall be available at the pool facility.

Observed that the life guard signage is incorrect/incorrect height. CA: Where no lifeguard is on duty, a sign or signs shall be placed in clear view at or near the entrance to the pool and shall state in clearly legible letters at least four inches high “WARNING - NO LIFE GUARD ON DUTY and RISK OF DROWNING - SUPERVISE CHILDREN CLOSELY”.

Observed that the correct pool risks are not correct. CA: The pool risks with all required verbiage and required height of letters shall be posted.

Observed that the peak occupancy sign did not have the number on it and hours were not posted. CA: Pool hours shall be posted and peak theoretical occupancy shall be posted.

Must have operational phone line. Reinspection required.
