Observed personal drinks stored on food prep surface in kitchen. One drink was in an unapproved container. CA: Employees shall consume food only in approved designated areas separate from food preparation and serving areas, equipment or utensil areas and food storage areas. However, drinking from a single service beverage cup with a secure lid and straw where there is no risk of contamination is allowed. COS: PIC removed personal drinks from kitchen.

Observed employee with artificial nails handling food without gloves. CA: Unless wearing gloves, a food employee may not wear fingernail polish or artificial fingernails when working with exposed food. COS: Employee washed hands and donned gloves.

Observed ice machine with black build up. CA: Discussed cleaning frequency with pic. COS: PIC will clean and health dept. will re-check.

Observed container of solution labeled sanitizer not testing at minimum ppm. CA: Discussed type of sanitizer solution used for facility. COS: PIC discovered solution was not a sanitizer and obtained approved sanitizer solution from Redmond kitchen for automatic dispenser and after testing quat based it was re-checked and approved to use for facility.

Observed open box of egg bites in freezer and uncovered. CA: Discussed keeping food covered properly during storage. COS: PIC will obtain new container for keeping egg bites to be covered and stored properly.

Observed bracelet on food handler. CA: Discussed jewelry with pic. COS: pic removed bracelet and washed hands

Observed large cooler holding milk above 41 degrees F. CA: discussed cold holding with pic-pic moved milk to another cooler until cooler is checked and serviced (inside thermometer is reading 48 degrees F) cooler was checked in morning and was working per pic. Cooler to be re-checked before milk is placed into cooler
