Observed no EPA registered disinfectant effective against norovirus in the facility. CA: A food establishment shall have written procedures for employees to follow and an EPA registered disinfectant effective against Norovirus available on-site at the food service establishment. No COS can be noted. Inspector will return to recheck.

Observed a food scraper with heavy grime accumulation placed with clean utensils. CA: Equipment food-contact surfaces and utensils shall be clean to sight and touch. COS: PIC discarded food scraper and rewashed contaminated dishes.

Observed food prep employee wearing watch while adding toppings to uncooked pizza. CA: Discussed personal jewelry with PIC. Except for a plain ring such as a wedding band food employees may not wear jewelry on their arms and hands while preparing food. COS: Food prep employee removed watch.

Observed plastic scoop stored in cornmeal container with handle touching the cornmeal. CA: Discussed storage for utensils in-between use with PIC. During pauses in food preparation or dispensing, food preparation and dispensing utensils shall be stored with handle above top of food in container or on a clean portion of the food preparation table. COS: Plastic scoop was removed from cornmeal container and placed on clean food prep table above cornmeal container.

Observed employee wearing jewelry other than a plain ring on their hands/arms while preparing food. Observed employee wearing watch while prepping pizza. CA: Discussed personal jewelry - only a single plain ring may be worn while preparing food. Employee removed jewelry.
