Flow meter reads at ~90 GPM at time of inspection. Ideal flow rate for this pool is ~148 GPM. Ideal flow rate can be determined by dividing the volume of the pool (gallons) by the required turnover (hour(s)) and divided by 60 minutes in an hour (minutes) = Gallons Per Minute (GPM). Corrective action: the flow meter must show accurately within +/-10% of actual flow.

Inspector observed all skimmers missing weir. Corrective action: Each skimmer shall have a weir that adjusts automatically to variations in water level over a minimum range of four inches.

Free chlorine measured 11.0 ppm. COS - Pool has been closed since 9/4/2025 and will remain closed until disinfectant is corrected to the approved range and verified by the local health authority. Corrective action: Disinfectant Levels (ppm): Minimum 1.0 (Ideal 1.0-3.0) Maximum 10.0.

During operation, the pH measured greater than 8.0. COS - pool has been closed since 9/4/2025 and will remain closed until pH is corrected to the approved range and is verified by the local health authority. Corrective action: During operation the pH shall measure between 7.2-7.8.

Combined Chlorine reading exceeds 0.4 ppm. See water quality reading logs. Corrective action: combined chlorine shall not exceed 0.4 ppm.

The emergency phone shall be capable of connecting to 911 and electronically transferring an automatic number identification and automatic locator identification of the pool emergency phone to the public safety answering point, if available. A 911 sign or the names and phone numbers of the nearest available police, fire, ambulance service or rescue unit shall be posted nearby.)

PIC could not provide CPO reports at time of inspection. Advise PIC written documentation of the operator’s twice weekly visits must be available at the pool facility.

The latest inspection report was not posted. Advised PIC that the latest inspection report shall be posted in public view.

Emergency phone not operating. COS closed pool until phone function is restored. Advise PIC the emergency phone must be operable at all times.

Combined Chlorine measured 0.8 ppm. Advise super-chlorination to reduce combined chlorine.

The water quality (chlorine and pH levels) is not tested and recorded daily. COS water quality will be tested two times/daily and recorded on a daily log. Advised PIC that the water quality shall be tested a minimum of two times daily during the hours of operation and recorded on a daily log.
