Observed employee drinks stored next to food in RIC in main kitchen. (CA) Advised the PIC that employee drinks must be stored in a designated area away from customer food and food prep. drinking from a single service beverage cup with a secure lid and straw that is handled to prevent contamination of the employee’s hands, the container, exposed food, clean equipment, utensils and linens, unwrapped single-service and single-use articles will be allowed.

Observed containers stored and stacked while still wet. (CA) Advised the PIC to allow the containers to completely air dry before stacking or using to store food. Shall be air-dried or used after adequate draining before contact with food
