Observed outer opening back door not self-closing properly making it not tight-fitting. Repair back door such that is functions properly and protects against the entry of pests.
Outer openings of a food service establishment shall be protected against the entry of insects and rodents by: (i) Filling or closing holes and other gaps along floors, walls, and ceilings; (ii) Closed, tight-fitting windows; and (iii) Solid, self-closing, tight-fitting doors.
17C - physical facilities installed, maintained, and clean
Regulation: 511-6-1.07(5)(a),(b) - good repair, physical facilities maintained; cleaning, frequency & restrictions, cleaned often enough to keep them clean (c)
Observed plastic sliding door on ice cream reach-in-freezer damaged/cracked and repaired with tape. Replace the sliding door such that it is in good repair. Observed walk-in-freezer door seal not functioning properly - ice buildup on inside of door. Repair door such that it seals properly and is easily cleanable.
All physical facilities shall be maintained in good repair.
