First Consecutive Repeat Violation Observed paper plates in self-service buffet area to be stored facing up allowing potential overhead contamination. Single-service and single-use articles shall be stored as specified under paragraph 1 of this subsection and shall be kept in the original protective package or stored by using other means that afford protection from contamination until used. Corrective Actions: PIC arranged paper plates to be stored inverted preventing overhead contamination.

Observed unwrapped single-use plastic spoons in self-serve buffet area stored with food and lip contact surface facing up. Single-service and single-use articles and cleaned and sanitized utensils shall be handled, displayed, and dispensed so that contamination of food-and lip-contact surfaces is prevented. Corrective Actions: PIC arranged plastic spoons so that the food and lip contact surfaces are protected.
