Observed the front door being held open with a fire extinguisher. Advised PIC that the front door cannot be propped opened and must be closed to prevent bugs, rodents, animals, etc. from entering the facility. PIC stated that the lock is broken on the door and if it is closed it will lock and prevent staff/guests from entering or exiting the establishment. The door has been propped open since opening this morning around 10:30AM. This created a major fire hazard and facility was asked to voluntarily close due to the door not opening. PIC Janethia Hampton agreed to voluntarily close and placed a sign on the door "closed for repairs".

The facility cannot operate until the DPH has verified that the door has been repaired. Please email a copy of the completed work order once repairs have been made. Once received inspector will come verify to reopen location.

Also, observed the rubber seal on the back door in bad repair creating an air gap. The door will need to be properly sealed to prevent seeing the outside on the side.
