Observed several chemical spray bottles not labeled with the common name of the chemical. Working containers used for storing poisonous or toxic materials such as cleaners and sanitizers taken from bulk supplies shall be clearly and individually identified with the common name of the material. Label the chemical spray bottles.

Observed a container of heavy whipping cream with a use by date of 5/4/23 and a container of sour cream with a use by date of 5/7/23 in the walk-in cooler. Prepackaged sandwiches, eggs, infant formula, shucked oysters, milk, and time/temperature control safety foods that are labeled as “keep refrigerated” and that are for sale or service to the consumer or used as an ingredient in other foods shall be immediately discarded and shall not be sold, served, or used after the manufacturer’s expiration date or the sell-by date. Both items discarded.

Observed an employee prepping food with a medium-length beard and no beard restraint. Employees preparing or handling food shall use effective and clean, disposable or easily cleanable nets or other hair restraints approved by the Health Authority, worn properly to restrain loose hair including beards and mustaches longer than one half inch. Employee put on a beard restraint.

Observed two employee drinks being stored on the prep table next to the grill. All employee items must be stored away from food, single-use items, clean equipment/utensils, and clean linen. Designate an area for employees to store their items away from the areas mentioned above.
