Need to obtain the proper test strips for the product you use whether its quaternary ammonia or chlorine (bleach). chlorine sanitizer solutions must be maintained at a concentration between 50 and 100 ppm (parts per million), with a minimum temperature of 100°F (38°C) for pH 10 or less, or 75°F (24°C) for pH 8 or less. The solution should not exceed 200 ppm. Quaternary ammonium compound (quat) sanitizers must be used according to the manufacturer’s label instructions, generally maintaining a concentration of 200 parts per million (ppm), or in the range of 150–400 ppm.
