Shake Shop

Observed single service spoons being stored inside of ice cream toppings (sprinkles, graham cracker crumbs, peanuts) with the handle laying in the food. COS: PIC removed the spoons from the containers and disposed of them. CA: If scoops are to be stored inside of food the handle must be above the top of the food within the container.

Observed spray bottle with yellow liquid inside of it. Upon discussion with person in charge I determined it was a "lemon scent all purpose cleaner". CA: All toxic chemicals shall be labeled with common name if not in their original container.

Observed back door was not tight fitting. CA: Doors must be self closing and tight fitting to prevent the entrance and harborage of pest and rodents.

Observed most recent inspection report was not posted for public view. CA: The most current inspection report shall be prominently displayed in public view at all times, within fifteen feet of the front or primary public door and between five feet and seven feet from the floor and in an area where it can be read at a distance of one foot away.

Observed black plastic food container in hand wash sink. CA: Hand wash sink shall be used to only wash hands. COS: PIC removed bowl from sink.
