Observed back door with gap present at the bottom through which light could be seen. Outer openings of a food service establishment shall be protected against the entry of insects and rodents by: filling or closing holes and other gaps along floors, walls, and ceilings; closed, tight-fitting windows; and solid, self-closing, tight-fitting doors. PIC needs to place weather stripping or doorsweep along the bottom of the door or otherwise fix the gap as done on the front door.

Observed light fixtures in kitchen and dry storage area with exposed light bulbs and no protective shielding present. Light bulbs shall be shielded, coated, or otherwise shatter-resistant in areas where there is exposed food; clean equipment, utensils, and linens; or unwrapped single-service and single-use articles. PIC must have protective shielding over all lights in kitchen and storage area.
