2-2D - adequate handwashing facilities supplied & accessible
Regulation: 511-6-1.06(2)(o) - using a handwashing sink- operation & maintenance (pf)
Upon arrival, observed a bagged chip display shelving rack blocking the only hand sink in the concession stand. The hand sink must be available at all times to ensure ease of handwashing and promote proper hand hygiene. COS display moved so sink was accessible.
18 - insects, rodents, and animals not present
Regulation: 511-6-1.07(2)(n) - exterior walls and roofs, protective barrier (c)
Observed the exterior door to the concession stand to be propped open upon arrival. Observed multiple house- and fruit-type flies in the concession stand during inspection. All exterior doors and windows must be screened if kept open to prevent pest incursion. Per Manager, EcoLab has been scheduled for 5/16 for routine service.
14D - gloves used properly
Regulation: 511-6-1.04(4)(n)2,3,4 - gloves, use limitations, slash resistant gloves & cloth gloves (c)
Observed food employee touch face with gloved hands. Observed employee don gloves without washing hands first. Disposable gloves must be changed after touching face, hair, body, or clothes, handling dirty equipment or utensils, tearing or ripping the sterile surface, using the restroom, eating or drinking, handling money, swapping from one task or another, or any other activities that may contaminate your clean gloves. Hands must be washed before donning gloves. COS employee educated, gloves discarded, hands washed, and gloves donned again.
