Observed mold-like debris on the baffle of the self-dispensing ice machine in the hospitality kitchen. PIC advised on cleaning frequency

Observed a dishwasher in use for warewashing multiuse items in the laundry facility without a sanitization cycle. No sanitization step was implemented to supplement the dishwasher. Educated staff on requirement to wash, rinse, and sanitize all multiuse dishware. Sanitization will be achieved after the multiuse use items are washed and rinsed in the dishwasher with chlorine bleach as a food grade sanitizer

Observed coffee grinds and debris in all inspected coffee machines. Discussed using flashlight to better see debris in machine when cleaning rooms. Discussed using a food grade sanitizer to clean inside the coffee machines after each guest check-out. COS Housekeeping Manager assigned staff to clean each coffee maker

Observed significant mold-like debris accumulation on the baffle of the self-dispensing ice machine in the hospitality kitchen. Per Front Desk Associate, maintenance is responsible for ice machine upkeep and a work order will be submitted for cleaning

Observed West Wing room 8, Main Inn rooms 2 and 4, and Villa 31 with operable windows that lacked screens. Properly fitting screens must be installed in windows that are operable or windows must be made not to open in order to prevent pest incursion. Maintenance will be notified of requirement and will install

Observed food debris under beds in West Wing rooms 6 and 12. Observed food and miscellaneous debris under cushions of chairs in cabins 15 and 18. Observed staining on these chair cushions as well. Manager will speak with housekeeping staff about proper cleaning procedures and will contact a linen service to have the chair fabrics cleaned
