Observed ice machine chutes with pink residue on floors 1, 3, and 4. Observed ice machine chute with brown residue on 2nd floor. In existing tourist accommodations permitted prior to the adoption of this rule, the use of existing self-service ice-storage bins may be continued, provided that the machines are maintained in good repair and capable of being properly cleaned and sanitized according to the manufacturer’s recommendations. Person in charge directed cleaning staff to begin cleaning and sanitizing ice chutes

Observed several spray bottles on housekeeping cart without a label. Any spray bottle used in cleaning a tourist room or stored on the housekeeping cart shall be labeled with its contents. Person in charge placed proper labels on the spray bottles

Observed pink and brown residue on ice chute of ice machine located on first floor. Observed pink residue on ice chute of ice machines located on third and fifth floors. Observed brown residue on ice chute of ice machine located on second floor. In existing tourist accomodations permitted prior to the adoption of this rule, the use of existing self-service ice-storage bins may be continued, provided that the machines are maintained in good repair and capable of being properly cleaned and sanitized according to the manufacturer's recommendations. Violation must be corrected within thirty days of the inspection report date
