Mansfield Elementary School

Note: the school does not have a chemical sanitizer that disinfects norovirus. The district has switched a new company they provides a disinfectant but the disinfectant is not in compliance. After speaking with the custodial staff and evaluating the solution used to clean if there was a diarrhea or vomiting I noticed this solution is not in compliance as well and the only alternative is the bleach that is used to wash cloths in the chemical room. Both personnel informed me that they are not allowed to mix the bleach. There is no other alternative so mixing the bleach must be done until another solution is approved for the health of the students, teachers, staff, and visitors or the school. This finding was discussed with the assistant principal.
