Food contact surfaces being cleaned with awesome. Awesome is not an approved sanitizer to clean food contact surfaces. Advised PIC to discard and use and approved product for food contact surfaces such as iodine, bleach or quaternary ammonium at the proper concentration.

Spray bottles with chemicals not labeled with common name. Advised PIC to label bottles. Working containers used for storing poisonous or toxic materials such as cleaners and sanitizers taken from bulk supples shall be clearly labeled with common name.

Observed employees preparing/handling food not wearing a hair restraint. Advised PIC to put on approved hair restraint. Employees preparing or handling food shall use effective and clean, disposable or easy cleanable hair restraint (hat, cap, visor, net, etc.)

Employees preparing/handling food wearing bracelets, rings with stones/grooves and watches. Advised PIC to remove. The only jewelry allowed to be worn is a plain wedding band.

Light shield missing in back storage room and light shield broke in cooking area. Advised PIC to fix or replace. Lights shall be shielded, coated or otherwise shatter resistant in areas where there is exposed food, clean equipment, utensils and linens or unwrapped ss items.
