Multiple personal drinks observed on prep tables, next to top of ice cream freezer and on the prep surface at the cook line. Discussed with Operator the importance of a designated place for personal drinks, below and away from food, food contact surfaces and equipment.
Basic - Employee wearing jewelry other than a plain ring on their hands/arms while preparing food. Cook on the line was cutting peppers wearing a wristwatch.
Basic - Food stored in undrained ice. Whole raw oysters stored in a pan of melted ice/water in the walk-in cooler. Chef had employee empty the water and replace the ice on the oysters. Corrected On-Site
Basic - Time/temperature control for safety food thawed in an improper manner. Bags of sausage were thawing under running water, but standing on end and unable to be submerged. Chef replaced the pan to allow the sausage to be submerged. Corrected On-Site
