Observed flow meter stuck in position. b) A flow meter measuring the rate of flow through the filter system with an appropriate range readable in gallons per minute (GPM) and accurate within ten percent actual flow shall be provided. The flow indicator shall be capable of measuring from one-half to at least one and one-half times the design flow rate. The gauge shall be located after the filtering equipment and in such location on the return line, so as to measure the total amount of water returning to the pool according to the manufacturer’s installation specifications. EHS informed the CPO who is going to address the issue.

Observed skimmer weir missing on one of the skimmers. (d) Each skimmer shall have a weir that adjusts automatically to variations in water level over a minimum range of four inches.EHS informed the PIC of the need to purchase a new weir.

Observed 911 signage and facility address not listed at the emergency phone. (c) An operable, hard-wired, conventional telephone line or continuous powered source, weatherproof emergency phone shall be permanently installed in a conspicuous location within the pool enclosure and must be readily available to bathers at all times. The emergency phone shall be capable of connecting to 911 and electronically transferring an automatic number identification and automatic locator identification of the pool emergency phone to the public safety answering point, if available. A 911 sign or the names and phone numbers of the nearest available police, fire, ambulance service or rescue unit shall be posted nearby. EHS informed the GM and CPO of the need to post the signage.

Observed no chlorine in the pool. (c) Free Chlorine level in pools using cyanuric acid or a stabilized chlorine product; Minimum 2.0 Ideal 2.0-5.0 Maximum 10.0. EHS informed the GM (on-site) and the CPO via phone of the chlorine levels.

Observed facility without the water test logs. Per GM, the CPO has the logs with him. (1) All swimming pools and spas covered by this Chapter shall be maintained under the supervision and direction of a properly trained operator who shall be responsible for the sanitation, safety, and proper maintenance of the pool and all related equipment, and for and daily recordkeeping. EHS informed the GM that the logs are to remain on-site.

Observed cyanuric acid at 110 ppm. (4) Stabilizer (if used) Cyanuric acid,ppm Ideal: 30-50 Maximum: 90 Comments: If stabilizer is: Too High: - May reduce chlorine efficacy Too Low: - Chlorine Residual rapidly destroyed by sunlight Note: Stabilizer is not needed in indoor or brominated pools and spas. EHS informed the GM(Omar) on-site and the CPO via phone of the high levels.

Observed the facility without CPO certification on-site. (1) All swimming pools and spas covered by this Chapter shall be maintained under the supervision and direction of a properly trained operator who shall be responsible for the sanitation, safety, and proper maintenance of the pool and all related equipment, and for and daily recordkeeping. EHS informed the GM of the need to keep a copy of the CPO certification on-site.

Observed facility without complete “WARNING - NO LIFE GUARD ON DUTY and RISK OF DROWNING - SUPERVISE CHILDREN CLOSELY” signage. (b) Where no lifeguard is on duty, a sign or signs shall be placed in clear view at or near the entrance to the pool and shall state in clearly legible letters at least four inches high “WARNING - NO LIFE GUARD ON DUTY and RISK OF DROWNING - SUPERVISE CHILDREN CLOSELY”. EHS informed the GM and the CPO of the need to purchase the correct signage.

Observed facility without the bather load posted in 4 inch numbering. A sign stating the occupancy shall be posted in a visible location near the entrance in four inch letters and numbers. The maximum number of bathers to be allowed in a pool enclosure at one time shall be based on DPH Rule 511-3-5-.05(12). Facility will need to post the bater load in 4 inch numbering on or near the entrance gate.

EHS observed that landline phone does not have listed address for location.
