Prior to testing the emergency phone EHS was informed of it requiring repairs to its wires. (c) An operable, hard-wired, conventional telephone line or continuous powered source, weatherproof emergency phone shall be permanently installed in a conspicuous location within the pool enclosure and must be readily available to bathers at all times. The emergency phone shall be capable of connecting to 911 and electronically transferring an automatic number identification and automatic locator identification of the pool emergency phone to the public safety answering point, if available. A 911 sign or the names and phone numbers of the nearest available police, fire, ambulance service or rescue unit shall be posted nearby. Wires are scheduled to be repaired today. EHS informed the PIC to ensure the phone connects to Macon-Bibb 911 once repairs are made.
Observed bather load posted in small numbering. Facility is aware of the need to increase the sizing of the numbers;sign has been ordered.

Observed low chlorine level. (c) Free Chlorine level in pools using cyanuric acid or a stabilized chlorine product; Minimum 2.0 Ideal 2.0-5.0 Maximum 10.0. EHS informed the CPO of the need balance the water chemistry; he stated he had planned to add the chlorine tabs to the feeder today.

Observed NO DIVING in 4 inch lettering missing from the pool deck at each depth 5 FT and less. (a) The words "No Diving" and the universal international symbol for “NO DIVING” shall be permanently visible at the edge of the deck for water five feet in depth or less, placed only on the deck beside the depth markers, and shall conform to that outlined for depth markers in subsections (3)(a) thru (h) above. EHS informed the CPO again as they had been informed previously of the need to install the noted item on the deck.

Observed the following signage missing: “WARNING - NO LIFE GUARD ON DUTY and RISK OF DROWNING - SUPERVISE CHILDREN CLOSELY” in 4 inch lettering. Facility currently has No lifeguard on duty signage, however it does not state all of the rule requirements. EHS informed the CPO of the need to purchase the noted signage.
