Observed PH at 8.3. (2) Chemical Values: pH 7.2 7.4-7.6 7.8 Alkalinity (buffering), 60 ppm 80-100 halogens compounds with high pH 180 ppm as CaC03 100-120 halogen compounds with low pH Calcium hardness, ppm, CaCo3 150 200-400 to balance water 1000. EHS informed the PIC; PIC will need to speak to the pool management company.

Observed flow meter not installed after previous conversations of the need to install the flow meter in the correct location. (b) A flow meter measuring the rate of flow through the filter system with an appropriate range readable in gallons per minute (GPM) and accurate within ten percent actual flow shall be provided. The flow indicator shall be capable of measuring from one-half to at least one and one-half times the design flow rate. The gauge shall be located after the filtering equipment and in such location on the return line, so as to measure the total amount of water returning to the pool according to the manufacturer’s installation specifications. EHS informed PIC; PIC is to contact the pool company.

Observed no daily logs. (9) Water Testing Frequency. The trained operator or responsible person shall collect water samples from the water in the pool for monitoring. An in-line sampling port may be used for water held in reservoirs. The water quality testing frequency shall be as follows: PIC is to inform the pool company of the need to leave test logs.

Observed pressure gauge potentially not operating; seems to be stuck. (b) The pressure gauge shall be installed downstream from the pump, on the face piping ahead of the filter or on top of the filter in the area of greatest filter pressure. PIC is to speak with the pool servicing company to check the gauge.
