6-1A - proper cold holding temperatures
Regulation: 511-6-1.04(6)(f) - time/temperature control for safety; cold holding (p)
At time of inspection, one of the reach-in coolers (RIC) observed holding Temperature Control for Safety (TCS) food at temperatures above 41 degrees F. COS: PIC discarded TCS food items that had been at 48 degrees F + temperatures for an extended period. PIC will have the unit looked at and will not use the unit to store TCS foods until the unit has been repaired/replaced and food can be held at or below 41 degrees F. In the meantime, all foods will be stored in the other RIC.
2-2D - adequate handwashing facilities supplied & accessible
Regulation: 511-6-1.06(2)(c) - handwashing sinks, installation (pf, c)
At time of inspection, the hot water is not working at the handwashing sink. The handle appears to be broken (or valve is broken). PIC contacted the owner and will have someone work on the sink.
