At time of inspection, observed single-service paper plates and plastic spoons stored in cabinets in front food service area, with items not sealed in original packaging OR in a sealed container, to prevent contamination. When not in-use, single-service items must be stored either in original packaging OR in a sealed container, to prevent contamination.

At time of inspection, observed a missing light shield in the kitchen, above food prep. table. Glass bulbs must have protective shielding, to prevent physical contamination of food, should the bulbs shatter.

At time of inspection, observed numerous single-service items (paper plates/bowls, plastic cutlery/cups) not sealed in original packaging OR in some type of container, in cabinets/drawers in breakfast area. Single-service items must be stored either sealed in original packaging OR sealed in some sort of container that protects the items from potential contamination.

At time of inspection, observed a missing light shield in the kitchen, above the prep. table. PIC states the shield will be replaced ASAP. Glass bulbs must be shielded to prevent physical contamination of food, should the bulbs shatter.

At time of inspection, observed a plastic bowl (stacked with other bowls on shelving in kitchen) with accumulation of crust / mineral buildup around interior of bowl. The food contact surfaces of utensils/equipment must be cleaned sufficiently to remove buildup, then rinsed and sanitized. PIC states she will attempt to clean the bowl or will discard it.

At time of inspection, observed several stacks of plates/bowls (single-service, paper) - as well as plastic cutlery - stored in cabinets in front food service / breakfast area not in original packaging or not enclosed to prevent potential contamination. COS: PIC enclosed all single-service items in plastic, to prevent contamination.

At time of inspection, observed a cracked light shield with a hole in it in the kitchen, above the prep. table. PIC states she will have the light shield replaced ASAP, to prevent potential contamination of food, should bulbs shatter.

At time of inspection, observed a container of waffle mix being stored in a wire basket, approximately one inch above the floor. Food products must be stored at least six inches above the floor. COS: PIC moved the waffle mix to a shelf.
