Observed paint peeling on ceiling for Cabins: Hick's (unit 5 and unit 2) and Geneva Cabin (Room 3 and Room 5). Floor, walls, and ceiling shall be kept clean and in good repair

Observed torn mattresses in Unit 5: Cabin 1 and Geneva Room 1; observed stain on pillows and mattresses in Conference Center 101 and 204. Advised PIC all bed linens, pillows, and mattresses shall be kept clean and in good repair at all times. Advised PIC to clean/replace pillows and mattresses

Observed staining in shower floor in Unit 5: Cabin 1, paint peeling on bathroom ceiling Unit 5: Cabin 1; paint peeling on bathroom ceiling in Geneva Room 1. Advised PIC toilet rooms and fixtures must be smooth and nonabsorbent and kept clean and in good repair

Observed no ventilation in bathroom for room 2 of Hicks Lodge, also with presence of mold-like substance on ceiling of the bathroom. Advised PIC toilet and bathing facilities shall be mechanically ventilated

Observed paint peeling on ceilings and walls in Unit 5: Cabin 1, Conference Center: 204, and Geneva Room 2; observed staining on ceiling and walls in Conference Center204 and Unit 5: Cabin 1. Advised PIC that floor, walls, and ceiling shall be kept clean and in good repair. Advised to clean and repair walls and ceilings

Observed annual gas-fired equipment inspection report not supplied to the Health Authority per request. Advised PIC All gas-fired equipment shall be inspected at least annually by a qualified licensed contractor or local fire authority, if available. Advised PIC to obtain annual gas-fired equipment inspection report and to provide to the Health Authority

Observed staining on mattress in the Conference Lodge in room 102. Advised PIC that Washable mattress pads or covers shall be used on all mattresses. Beds, mattresses, springs, slats, mattress pads, mattress and bed coverings, pillow and pillow covers shall be clean and free from vermin. Advised PIC to clean staining on mattress

Observed missing light shield in Unit 5 cabin 4 bathroom. Advised PIC Toilet rooms and fixtures must be smooth and nonabsorbent and shall be kept clean and in good repair. Advised PIC to place light shield in Unit 5 cabin 4 bathroom

Observed visible light entry underneath front-door and back-door along middle seal at Geneva for Rooms #1, #2, and #4. Advised PIC Openings to the outside shall be effectively protected against the entrance of rodents and insects by tight-fitting doors, closed windows, screening, controlled air currents or other means

Observed paint peeling and/or stains for cabins: Unit 5 (1 and 3), Hicks (Room #6), Geneva (Room 2). Advised PIC floors, walls, ceilings. windows, doors and all other appurtenances shall be of sound construction, properly maintained in good repair and shall be kept clean

Observed most recent inspection report not prominently posted. Advised PIC The most recent tourist accommodation inspection report form shall be prominently displayed in public view at all times, between five feet and seven feet from the floor and in a public area such as the registration desk, where it can be read at a distance of one foot away

Observed two containers stored on floor in laundry storage area (conference hall) with clean linens. Advised PIC A storage area or room shall be required to store clean linens and laundry at least a minimum of 6-inches off the floor and be free of pests, vermin, dust and moisture

Observed 2023 Tourist Accommodation not posted in public view. Advised PIC that the most current 2023 Tourist Accommodation permit shall be posted in public view

Observed severe staining on walls & ceilings in rooms/cabins 5 (john hicks), and unit 5 (cabins 1 &3). Advised PIC that all walls and ceilings shall be kept clean and in good repair at all times

Observed multiple ceiling tiles missing from laundry area. Advised PIC that laundry rooms shall be constructed soundly and kept in good repair
