Observed facility without a food allergy awareness training. Advised PIC employees are properly trained in food safety, including food allergy awareness, as it relates to their assigned duties. Food allergy awareness includes describing foods identified as major food allergens and the symptoms that a major food allergen could cause in a sensitive individual who has an allergic reaction. Advised PIC to obtain a food allergy awareness training and to produce upon request of the Health Department.
2-2D - adequate handwashing facilities supplied & accessible

Observed wiping cloth stored inside the front food service hand washing sink. Advised PIC that a handwashing sink shall be maintained so that it is accessible at all times for employee use. Advised PIC to remove wiping cloth from the front food service hand washing sink.
