2-2D - adequate handwashing facilities supplied & accessible
Regulation: 511-6-1.06(2)(o) - using a handwashing sink- operation & maintenance (pf)
Upon arrival, observed mop and mop bucket blocking and obstructing the back handwashing sink. Advised PIC a handwashing sink shall be maintained so that it is accessible at all times for employee use. COS: PIC removed mop and mop bucket from the back handwashing sink.
4-2A - food stored covered
Regulation: 511-6-1.04(4)(c)1(iv) - packaged & unpackaged food, food stored covered(c)
Upon arrival, observed ice bin filled with ice at the front-service area left uncovered when not in use. Advised PIC that foods shall be covered in order to protect against contamination. COS: PIC covered ice in the ice bin at the front-service area.
10D - food properly labeled; original container
Regulation: 511-6-1.04(4)(d) - food storage containers identified with common name of food (c)
Observed multiple spray bottles of water not labeled during time of inspection. Advised PIC working containers holding food or food ingredients that are removed from their original packages for use in the food shall be clearly and legibly identified, in English, with the common name of the food. COS: PIC labeled all spray bottles of water in the establishment.
12C - wiping cloths: properly used and stored
Regulation: 511-6-1.04(4)(m) - wiping cloths, use limitation (c)
Upon arrival observed wiping cloth stored outside of sanitizer bucket while not in use at the front-service counter. Advised PIC that wiping cloths shall be stored in a chemical sanitizer between use. Advised PIC to store all wiping cloths in a sanitizer solution between use.
