Observed butane fuel stored on prep counter directly next to syrups. Advised PIC Poisonous or toxic materials shall be stored so they cannot contaminate food, equipment, utensils, linens, and single-service and single-use articles by: separating the poisonous or toxic materials by spacing or partitioning. COS: PIC relocated butane fuel away from food.

Observed food employee work register and then proceed to prep drink without handwashing step in-between. Observed another food employee touch shirt and then proceed to prep drink without handwashing before initiating food prep. Advised PIC Food employees shall clean their hands and exposed portions of their arms immediately before engaging in food preparation including working with exposed food, clean equipment and utensils, and unwrapped single-service and single-use articles and: after touching bare human body parts other than clean hands and clean, exposed arms; after engaging in other activities that contaminate the hands. COS: Had both employee cease prep and handwash.

Observed TCS food items held in prep top cooler measuring above 41 degrees F. Advised PIC to relocate to another cooler and ensure cooler was working. CA: All TCS food items shall measure 41 degrees F or below cold holding.
