Observation: Observed a food handler remove a cooked beef patty from the grill using a utensil, then handle the cooked meat, bun, and toppings with bare hands.

Violation: Bare-hand contact with ready-to-eat (RTE) foods is not permitted. The food handler stated that gloves tend to stick when assembling burgers and that it is easier to use bare hands.

Corrective Action (CA): Provided education to the Person in Charge (PIC) and the food handler regarding the prohibition of bare-hand contact with RTE foods.

Correction on Site (COS): The burger was voluntarily discarded, and the violation was corrected during the inspection.
