Five knives used to make sandwiches were observed: two had peeling handles, and three had handles covered in duct tape.
CA: Nonfood-contact surfaces of equipment that are exposed to splash, spillage, or other food soiling or that require frequent cleaning shall be constructed of a corrosion-resistant, nonabsorbent, and smooth material.
COS: PIC voluntarily discarded two knives with peeling handles and other three knives were placed in three compartment sink to have the duct tape removed and be rewashed.
