3 - hot/cold running water under pressure in all required locations of tourist accommodation
Regulation: 511-6-2-.07(2) - hot water supply
Observed several units with water pressures over and under 120F. *see log of water temperatures in notes. In all new tourist accommodations, and where possible in existing tourist accommodations, hot water in all guest rooms shall not exceed 120F
17 - proper ventilation; no sign of mold, mildew, odors or moisture
Regulation: 511-6-2-.08(5) - toilet and bathing ventilation
Observed accumulation of dust on ventilation covers in multiple guest and/or public bathrooms.
CA:Toilet, lavatory and bathing facilities shall be mechanically ventilated. Where ventilation ducts are used, ducts from toilet rooms shall not be connected into return ventilation ducts to any other room. In existing tourist accommodations permitted prior to the adoption of this rule, the current ventilation must prevent odor, mold, mildew, and moisture. All new or major renovation of a tourist accommodation will require mechanical ventilation to be installed to the outside of the building separate from heating and air-condition systems.
Advised PIC to ensure routine maintenance includes cleaning of all bathroom ventilation systems
