6 - proper disinfectant level
13-189(c)(1): The free chlorine residual in all parts of the pool shall be maintained at a concentration of no less than 1.5 ppm and shall not exceed 10 ppm. Upon arrival, free chlorine was measured at 0.00 ppm.
8 - chemical feeder operational and approved
13-197(a): The water in each pool shall be continuously chemically treated with an approved disinfecting agent, with associated, approved equipment. Upon arrival, chemical feeder contained zero disinfectant agents/was non-functional.
9 - filter: approved, maintained and operating
13-190(a): All circulation system components shall function properly & be maintained in a clean condition. Upon arrival, both sand filters were non-operational, and gauges read a pressure of 0 psi.
10 - pump: approved, maintained and operating
13-190(a): All circulation system components shall function properly & be maintained in a clean condition. Upon arrival, pump was switched off/non-operational.
19 - adequate turnover rate
13-190(a): The equipment shall be operated continuously to obtain the minimum required number of one turnover every six hours. Observed flow meter reading of 0 GPM/non-operational.
32 - operator training certification available onsite and approved
13-202(b): A pool operator shall be responsible for the operation of a pool & trained in a pool operator course approved by the department. Observed two CPO certificates posted, for two different individuals, with expiration dates of several years ago.
17 - skimmers/gutters maintained and operable
13-190(a): All circulation systems shall function properly & be maintained in a clean condition. Observed 1/3 skimmers with minimal water circulation, as its basket was filled with debris.
26 - gauge(s) in proper location; sight glass installed
13-183(d): Direct discharge of polluted waters shall not be made to any outlet or to any portion of the public storm drain system. Upon arrival, equipment room was completely flooded with standing water at ankle height and was flowing freely into the street.
12 - grab/hand rails, ladders installed and secure
13-188(f): All steps shall have a handrail double anchored in the deck. Grab rails located near 6'(ft) pool depth were loose/not properly secure.
16 - pool deck: maintained, unobstructed and clean
13-188(h)(3): The required deck shall be non-obstructed in all directions. Rough and abrasive surfaces are prohibited. Observed numerous large cracks and missing pieces of plaster throughout pool deck.
22 - signs: peak occupancy/pool/spa/signs legible and in clearview
13-202(m): Safety rules & regulations shall be easily readable, conspicuously posted in the pool area, with at minimum 12 required statements in the pool code. Observed pool rules sign without "peak occupancy" or "hours of operations" information filled in.

13-188(a): Pool surfaces shall have no cracks or open joints. Observed pool surface missing a moderate amount of plaster/containing open joints.
