Observed two food employees with hair longer than one half inch not wearing hairnets in the main kitchen. CA: Employees preparing or handling food shall use effective and clean, disposable or easily cleanable nets or other hair restraints approved by the Health Authority, worn properly to restrain loose hair including beards and mustaches longer than one half inch. COS: Food employees placed hairnets on and washed their hands.

Observed food debris and buildup in the reach-in freezer. CA: Nonfood-contact surfaces of equipment shall be cleaned at a frequency necessary to preclude accumulation of soil residues.

Observed the entrance door into the facility to be slightly open with gaps and day-light coming into the store. CA: outer openings of a food service establishment shall be protected against the entry of insects and rodents by: Filling or closing holes and other gaps along floors, walls, and ceilings; Closed, tight-fitting windows; and Solid, self-closing, tight-fitting doors. Person in charge informed inspector that a work order has been placed.

Observed garbage on the ground and/or pad around dumpster and water holding around the dumpster. CA: Outdoor refuse areas shall be constructed in accordance with Law and shall be curbed and graded to drain to collect and dispose of liquid waste that results from the refuse and from cleaning the area and waste receptacles.
