Self-service ice machine shall be cleaned and maintained to prevent organic growth/build-up. Observed the inside of the ice-machine (on 1st floor) with brownish-color residue on the plastic piece that comes in contact with the ice. Advised to clean properly with a food contact surface bleach solution made to 50ppm-100ppm (about 1-2 tsp of bleach to a gallon of water)

All furniture, draperies, appliances, carpets, and other accessories, in the tourist accommodation, whether the property of the tourist accommodation owner or not, shall be considered the property of and furnished by the tourist accommodation for purposes of enforcement of this Chapter, and must be maintained in good repair, clean, and free of vermin. Observed dirty/damaged AC unit, microwave, curtain and/or furniture in rooms: 104, 112, 123, 230, 232, 223, 235, 335, 330, 304

Observed fixtures (toilet, tub) unclean and/or stained in rooms 123, 223, 230, 235, 335

Single- service items placed in a guestroom or dwelling units shall be commercially pre-wrapped to protect against contamination. Observed single-use cups with the seal/wrapper broken in rooms: 223, 335, 330, 305

Ice machines shall be kept clean to sight and touch. Observed the first floor ice machine with a pink mold-like substance on the white plastic inner-dispenser part. Advised to clean and sanitizer the ice machine according to the manufactures instructions. NOTE: The second floor ice machine was not in-use during time of inspection
