The turnover is not adequate for the pool type and size. The equipment for a swimming pool shall be of adequate size to turn over the entire pool water capacity. The turnover rate for pools constructed after the adoption of this chapter shall not exceed the sum of one and one-half times the average water depth in feet; where the number of hours is equal to the number feet calculated, or exceed once every six hours whichever is less. Unless the rate is otherwise specified in subsection (b) below. This system shall be designed to give the proper turnover rate based on the manufacturer's recommended maximum pressure flow of the filter in dirty media condition of the filter, immediately prior to cleaning the filter. Must be corrected prior to routine inspection.

A weir is not present in each skimmer. Replace weirs. Each skimmer shall have a weir that adjusts automatically to variations in water level over a minimum range of four inches

The words "No Diving" does not meet the minimum height requirements for the depth markers. The universal symbol for No Diving and NO DIVING are not painted on and not permanent in nature. The words "No Diving" and the universal international symbol for “NO DIVING” shall be permanently visible at the edge of the deck for water five feet in depth or less, placed only on the deck beside the depth markers, and shall conform to that outlined for depth markers. Correct prior to permitting 2028.

Observed that the facility has a door leading from the building directly into the pool enclosure did not have the handle 54 inches up or was otherwise prohibitive and did not close all the way, that the only gate was not self-closing, and that there were large gaps under the fence barrier. CA: Pools shall be enclosed by a barrier that prevents entry into the pool enclosure when the pool is not operational.

Observed that the emergency phone dialed a third party company instead of directly to 911; this is a violation, however, as the facility has been operating this way they are given until next pool season to correct this issue.

Observed that the facility did not have their daily chemical check records. CA: Facility shall conducted daily chemical checks and have those records available.

Observed that the pool has a flow rate of 65, however, the pool needs a flow rate of 105 to meet the required turnover rate. CA: The equipment shall be adequate to ensure that the required turnover rate is met.

Observed that the facility did not have their daily safety check records. CA: Facility shall conducted daily safety checks and have those records available.

Observed that there was not float valve assemblys in the skimmers over the check valves. CA: Skimmer equalizer lines shall be protected by an approved cover.

The documents for the CPO visits are not available. CA: Documentation for the CPO visits showing checks of all required items shall be available.

Observed several gaps in the decking. CA: Open joints or gaps larger than three-sixteenths inch wide shall be sealed.

Observed that there was not a continous four feet width of walkway around the entire pool due to chairs. CA: There shall be a continuous four feet width of walkway around the entire pools edge.

Observed that the verbiage for the life guard sign is correct, however, the size of the letters is too small. CA: The life guard and supervise children verbiage shall be in 4 inch tall letters.

Observed that the international no diving symbol was not present at pools edge, only the words, "no diving". CA: The words "no diving" and the international symbol for "no diving" shall be present at the edge of the pool where the water is less than 5ft in depth as required by the Rules and Regulations.
