The turnover is not adequate for the pool type and size. The pool size is indicated at 45,000 gallons. The required turnover is 125 gpm. The equipment for a swimming pool shall be of adequate size to turn over the entire pool water capacity. The turnover rate for pools constructed after the adoption of this chapter shall not exceed the sum of one and one-half times the average water depth in feet; where the number of hours is equal to the number feet calculated, or exceed once every six hours whichever is less. Unless the rate is otherwise specified in subsection (b) below. This system shall be designed to give the proper turnover rate based on the manufacturer's recommended maximum pressure flow of the filter in dirty media condition of the filter, immediately prior to cleaning the filter. Must be corrected prior to routine inspection.

The letters on the depth marker do not meet minimum height requirement of 4". Depth markers number and letters shall be tile and four inches minimum in height. Numbers shall be of contrasting color to the background on which they are applied. Correct prior to permitting season 2028

The words "No Diving" does not meet the minimum height requirements for the depth markers. The No Diving marking and universal symbol for No Diving is not permanent in nature on the deck; slip resistant stickers are used. The words "No Diving" and the universal international symbol for “NO DIVING” shall be permanently visible at the edge of the deck for water five feet in depth or less, placed only on the deck beside the depth markers, and shall conform to that outlined for depth markers. Correct prior to permitting 2028.

.11(3)(e) There is no float valve assembly present in each skimmer. Each skimmer shall be equipped with a trimmer valve capable of distributing the total flow between individual skimmers

The pool access gate does not latch back when opened at different angels. Ensure the access gate properly latches to prevent unauthorized access. The side maintenance gate near the pool pump room must remain locked at all times or comply with the rules for access gates. Must be in compliance prior to permitting. Access gates shall also comply with the requirements of this Rule and shall be equipped to accommodate a locking device. Barrier gates shall open away from the pool in facilities constructed after adoption of this chapter. Pedestrian access gates shall be self-closing and have a self-latching device. Gates other than pedestrian access gates shall have a self-latching device. Where the release mechanism of the self latching device is located less than fifty-four inches from the bottom of the gate, 1. The release mechanism shall be located on the pool side of the gate at least three inches below the top of the gate and 2. Any openings in the gate or barrier located within eighteen inches of the release mechanism shall be less than one-half inch. 3. Mechanisms controlled by an access card reader, key entry device or keypad shall be located on the outside of the access gate.

The chlorine level does not meet minimum requirement. There is currently no cyanuric acid, but the pool will operate as a stabilized pool. The minimum chlorine should be maintained at 2ppm for a stabilized pool. Must be in compliance prior to permitting.

The pool turnover is not sufficient to ensure proper required turnover rate. If pool can not maintain turnover of at least 125gpm, then updates to equipment in the off season may be required. Monitor flow daily to see patterns.

The depth markers do not have the "FT" in at least 4 inch letters on the pool deck. Depth markers number and letters shall be tile and four inches minimum in height. Numbers shall be of contrasting color to the background on which they are applied.

The float valve assemblies and equalizer check valves are not present in each skimmer. When equalizer lines are present, the proper equipment must be present in the skimmer.

The cyanuric acid should not exceed 90. Replacing water in pool will decrease CYA to acceptable levels.

The railing at the ladder on far side of the pool is not secured to the interior of the pool. Handrails must be secured to the deck.

Paper towels are not available in the women's restroom. Ensure paper towels are always available in the dispenser.

The chlorine level is not at least 2.0 ppm. The gate says the pool is closed, but a bather is present.

There are chlorine tabs present in the skimmers. All chemicals must be fed through the chemical feeder and circulation equipment.

The rope is not attached to the ring buoy and the rope that is present is dry rotting. Replace the rope and ensure it is tied to the ring buoy.

The combined chlorine level exceeds the maximum allowance of .4 ppm. Treat pool to lower the combined chlorine.

The flowmeter is not functioning properly. Replace the flow meter and ensure a turnover of at least 125 gpm.

The railing at the steps on far side of the pool is not secured to the interior of the pool. Handrails must be secured to the deck and pool.

Flowmeter not working. Repair/Replace flowmeter.

Replace missing no diving and depth markers on pool deck.
