Observed frozen potentially hazardous food slacking at greater than 41 degrees Fahrenheit. PIC discarded the food.
4-2B - food-contact surfaces: cleaned & sanitized
Regulation: 511-6-1.05(7)(b) - food contact surfaces and utensils - cleaning frequency (p, c)
Observed a black mold like substance on the baffle and walls of the ice machine again. PIC had an employee discard the ice then clean and sanitize the machine.
12A - contamination prevented during food preparation, storage, display
Regulation: 511-6-1.04(4)(q) - food storage (c)
Observed food stored on the floor of the emergency food storage room. CA - PIC will ensure that food stored off of the ground.
16B - plumbing installed; proper backflow devices
Regulation: 511-6-1.06(2)(m),(n) - backflow prevention device, location; condition device, location (c)
Observed expired water filters for kitchen and memory care. CA - PIC will ensure that these filters are replaced.
