2-2E: .03(6)Per managers, facility will call a 3rd party to come and clean vomit and diarrheal events. Managers do not know what procedures, supplies, and chemical that will be used by 3rd party to ensure that Norovirus is effectively eliminated. Facility must provide the clean up procedures and chemical used by 3rd party to the health airborne by 6/7/24 and chemical must be effective against Norovirus. A food establishment shall have procedures for employees to follow when responding to vomiting or diarrheal events that involve the discharge of vomitus or fecal matter onto surfaces in the food service establishment. The procedures shall address the specific actions employees must take to minimize the spread of contamination and the exposure of employees, consumers, food, and surfaces to vomitus or fecal matter.
