Observed facility could not provide evidence that customers are notified of the presence of major food allergens. The permit holder shall notify consumers by written notification of the presence of major food allergens as an ingredient in unpackaged food items that are served or sold to the consumer. PIC must produce some form of written notification informing customers of the presence of any major food allergens served in the facility.

Observed women's bathroom handwashing sink did not have soap. Each handwashing sink or group of two adjacent handwashing sinks shall be provided with a supply of hand cleaning liquid, powder, or bar soap. COS: PIC replaced soap.

Observed women's bathroom did not have paper towels at the handwashing sink. Each handwashing sink or group of adjacent handwashing sinks shall be provided with a hand drying provision. COS: PIC replaced paper towels.

Observed can of surface cleaner on dry storage shelf next to dry food items. Poisonous or toxic materials shall be stored so they cannot contaminate food, equipment, utensils, linens, and single-service and single-use articles by separating the poisonous or toxic materials by spacing or partitioning. COS: PIC moved the cleaner below food items.

Observed the facility did not have the proper disinfectant on site to respond to vomiting or diarrheal events. PIC stated bleach was used to clean up vomiting or diarrheal events, but no bleach was present at the facility at the time of inspection. The facility shall have the appropriate disinfectant to respond to vomiting and diarrheal events on site at all times.

Observed the facility did not have adequate sanitizer for ware washing. PIC stated bleach was used as a sanitizer, but did not have bleach at the facility at the time of inspection. PIC inquired about using vinegar as a sanitizing agent. When a chemical sanitizer is used it shall be in accordance with the Georgia Food Service Rules and Regulations as described in rule .05(6)(n). PIC stated she would go purchase some bleach.

Observed frozen beef thawing in the meat sink at room temperature with no running water. Observed fish thawing in a bucket of water. When thawing TCS foods they shall be completely submerged in running water or by another method listed in rule .04(6)(c).

Observed that handwashing area did not have paper towels readily available. COS paper towels were provided.
