Regulation: 511-6-1.03(6) - clean-up of vomiting and diarrheal events(pf)
Observed no bodily fluid clean up kit or written procedures for contamination events available in facility. CA: A food establishment shall have written procedures for employees to follow and an EPA registered disinfectant effective against Norovirus available on-site at the food service establishment when responding to vomiting or diarrheal events. PIC notified to acquire new body fluid kit. Health dept. to verify within 10 days.
15C - nonfood-contact surfaces clean
Regulation: 511-6-1.05(7)(d) - nonfood-contact surfaces (c)
Observed build up of debris on floor around equipment. CA: Nonfood-Contact Surfaces. Nonfood-contact surfaces of equipment shall be cleaned at a frequency necessary to preclude accumulation of soil residues. PIC will have floors cleaned.
17D - adequate ventilation and lighting; designated areas used
Regulation: 511-6-1.07(4)(b) - designated areas for employee activity, located to prevent contamination of food, equipment, utensils, linens, & single service articles (c)
Observed employee items stored on top of to-go boxes. CA: Areas designated for employees to eat, drink, use tobacco products and electronic devices shall be located so that food, equipment, linens, and single-service and single-use articles are protected from contamination. COS: PIC moved items to designated area.
