SONIC DRIVE-IN

Basic - Accumulation of black/green mold-like substance in the interior of the ice machine/bin. Mold-like substance observed on lid of ice machine.

Basic - Exterior door has a gap at the threshold that opens to the outside.

Basic - Floor tiles missing and/or in disrepair. Broken floor tiles on cook line. Repeat Violation

Basic - Walk-in cooler/freezer interior door with rust that has pitted the surface.

High Priority - Time/temperature control for safety food cold held at greater than 41 degrees Fahrenheit. Observed vanilla mix 50F, 47F in milkshake machine at 12:30. Per operator held since 12:15. Operator turned on freeze mode on machine to properly cold hold. Corrective Action Taken

High Priority - Wiping cloth solution exceeding the maximum concentration allowed stored in a location that could result in the cross contamination of food, equipment, utensils, linens, single-service, or single-use articles. Observed wiping cloth quaternary 500+ppm. Operator corrected to 200ppm during inspection. Corrected On-Site

Basic - Ceiling tiles missing above cook line and dish areas.

Basic - Current Hotel and Restaurant license not displayed.

Basic - Floor soiled/has accumulation of debris throughout kitchen/storage/dish areas.

Basic - In-use utensil not stored on a clean portion of food preparation or cooking equipment. Observed tongs used for hot dogs stored in soiled compartment next to hot hold steam table at kitchen area.

Basic - Ceiling/ceiling tiles/vents soiled with accumulated food debris, grease, dust, or mold-like substance. Observed accumulation of mold and dust on vents and ceiling in walk in cooler.

Basic - Equipment in poor repair. Observed walk in cooler is not able to be tightly closed and ice machine door is disassembled.

Basic - Light not functioning. Observed no operable light in walk in cooler.

Basic - Wiping cloth quaternary ammonium compound sanitizing solution not at proper minimum strength. Observed wiping cloth sanitizer solution Quaternary 500+ppm. Manager diluted sanitizer solution to Quaternary 200ppm during inspection. Corrected On-Site

Intermediate - Food-contact surface soiled with food debris, mold-like substance or slime. Mold on lid for reach in freezer in back of store.
