Basic - Employee beverage container on a food preparation table or over/next to clean equipment/utensils. Employee drink cup stored on shelf above juices and tea in kitchen near back door. Employee removed the drink from the shelf during this inspection. Corrected On-Site

Basic - Employee wearing jewelry other than a plain ring on their hands/arms while preparing food. Employee with two bracelets and watch on wrists preparing sandwich at cookline. Employees removed the jewelry during this inspection. Corrected On-Site

Basic - Time/temperature control for safety food thawed in an improper manner. Ziplock bag containing chicken thawing at room temperature on top of prep area in kitchen. Chicken is still partially frozen. Inspector had employee move the chicken ti the cooler to continue to thaw under refrigeration. Corrected On-Site

Basic - Wet mop not stored in a manner to allow the mop to dry. Wet mop stored down inside mop bucker in back of kitchen near mop sink. Employee hung the mop to dry during this inspection. Corrected On-Site

High Priority - Toxic substance/chemical improperly stored. Two bottles of floor cleaner stored directly beside box containing single-use straws and bags of coffee on shelf below front counter. Manager moved straws and coffee to another shelf away from chemicals during this inspection. Corrected On-Site

Basic - Clean glasses, cups, bowls, plates, pots and pans not stored inverted or in a protected manner. Several pitchers and plastic containers not inverted on top shelf if dish rack in back of kitchen. Employee inverted all dishes during this inspection. Corrected On-Site

Basic - Nonfood-contact surface soiled with grease, food debris, dirt, slime or dust. Gaskets on cooler and freezer doors throughout back of kitchen soiled with mold-like substance.

Intermediate - Certified food manager unable to answer basic Food Code questions pertaining to safe operation of establishment. Certified food manager in charge was unable to check the thermometer for calibration. Inspector checked the thermometer for calibration and educated manager during this inspection.

Intermediate - Handwash sink used for purposes other than handwashing. Ice dumped into handwash sink near ice machine.

Basic - Old labels stuck to food containers after cleaning. Old labels stuck to side of two clear plastic pans on clean dish rack near dish machine. Manager moved the pans to the sink to be washed, rinsed, and sanitized. Corrective Action Taken

High Priority - Vacuum breaker missing at hose bibb or on fitting/splitter added to hose bibb. Backflow prevention device missing after splitter on wall near dish machine.

Intermediate - Food-contact surface soiled with food debris, mold-like substance or slime. Cutting board behind front counter stained.
