Observed emergency phone was not operating properly: -No dial tone. -You can hear the presses of the buttons, but when dialing nothing is heard. -After hanging up and checking the phone again, 911 answered without having to redial.

Corrective action: Discussed with PIC to have emergency phone fixed as soon as possible.

EHS informed the CPO and the front desk manager of the issue;CPO contacted the owner to inform him of the phone issue; phone is to dial to Macon-Bibb 911.
